Rod Ouassaidi is an entrepreneur, restaurateur, and hospitality executive recognized for building distinctive restaurant concepts rooted in exceptional food, thoughtful service, and authentic guest experiences. As the founder of Moona and Pita Restaurants, he has developed a growing hospitality presence in the Greater Boston area while bringing the depth and character of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to a broad and diverse audience.
With a strong entrepreneurial vision and an uncompromising commitment to quality, Rod has built his restaurants around more than food—creating destinations defined by culture, hospitality, and community. His leadership combines operational excellence with a deep understanding of the guest experience, fostering teams and concepts that are both commercially successful and genuinely welcoming.

Othmane Hafiani, Executive Manager .
Originally from Morocco, Othmane Hafiani is a hands-on hospitality executive whose leadership is grounded in discipline, operational excellence, and a strong entrepreneurial mindset. He holds a Master’s degree in Land Surveying Engineering and Management and is fluent in six languages, bringing a distinctive analytical, multicultural, and global perspective to hospitality leadership.
Othmane began his professional career outside of hospitality, but his natural strength in operations, leadership, and business strategy ultimately led him to the restaurant industry, where his potential was recognized by entrepreneur and restaurateur Rod Ouassaidi. Since then, he has built his career around leading diverse teams, strengthening operations, and creating systems that support exceptional guest experiences and sustainable business growth.
As Executive Manager, Othmane oversees day-to-day operations while contributing to business development, strategic partnerships, process improvement, and long-term growth initiatives. A proud working manager, he believes effective leadership means remaining closely connected to both the team and the guest experience.
His multilingual and multicultural background strengthens his ability to connect with people across cultures, lead diverse teams, and cultivate an inclusive hospitality environment. Combining analytical thinking with hands-on execution, Othmane helps ensure that every aspect of Moona reflects the consistency, quality, warmth, and genuine hospitality at the heart of the restaurant.
